Etsegenet Messele Kebede, Project Associate

Etsegenet Messele Kebede is a skilled and creative designer with diverse experience in architectural and graphic design, research, and documentation work. She has practiced as an architect in her hometown, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia designing and preparing construction documents for apartment and hospitality-focused design projects. Moreover, she has actively worked on documenting the changing urban landscape of her hometown through photography which led her to pursue a graduate study in Historic Preservation at Columbia University.

Following her graduate study, she continued to practice as an architectural designer and a preservation specialist working on research, condition assessments of existing structures, and preparation of construction documents in New York. She is passionate about architectural photography and digital documentation.

Etsegenet is currently working towards getting her architecture license in New York.
