We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position(s) in our New York City office:
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/ARCHITECT
Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of complex preservation and building envelope projects, from initial assessment through construction administration.
Serve as the primary liaison with clients and coordinate with interdisciplinary project teams.
Conduct detailed exterior enclosure investigations, including masonry, waterproofing, as well as window and roof repair projects.
Ensure that construction documents are developed accurately and deadlines are met consistently.
Undertake quality assurance reviews of construction documents.
Assist in marketing efforts for the firm, including responding to RFPs and participating in interviews.
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm, love for the profession, and self-motivation are essential for this position.
Must have 8-10 years of experience in architectural preservation, preferably overseeing complex preservation and exterior enclosure projects.
A professional degree in Architecture and/or Historic Preservation is required.
Strong problem-solving capabilities with substantial experience in research, reporting, and specifications writing related to building preservation.
Able to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Extensive experience with the rules and regulations of the NYC Façade Inspection and Safety Program (FISP).
Must have NYC suspended and supported scaffolding certification and the ability to work on both fixed and suspended scaffolding as well as aerial lifts.
Excellent communication skills, both for client interactions and within the firm.
Ability to work independently or lead project teams based on project demands.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is essential.
The salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
